为什么IE要花很长时间才能显示网页的源代码？

班主及各位大侠：


我有一台IBM ThinkPad 手提电脑。 操作系统是 Windows 2000. 装有 IE 6.0.

有时我访问一个网页， 想看看它的源代码 (点击 View --> Source). 但是每次都要等大概 5~6 分钟才会有 Notepad 跳出来。 而我的另一台电脑则没有这个问题。 不到一秒钟就显示出来了。

请问这是为何？ 是手提电脑的设置有问题吗？ 两台机器的速度都差不多。

是不是手提电脑里的系统参数设置地不对， IE 每次要搜索整个硬盘来找到 Notepad 程序， 所以才花那么长的时间？

请各位大侠指点。
