Help! I need a drive for my cd-rom

Hi everybody;

I bought a k-hypermedia CD-RW drive several years ago, now my conputer crashed and needs to reinstall the system, though I can still reboot from my CD, but after the system started, I can not use my CD-rom anymore, I thought that I may need the original drive to make it work, but can not find it anywhere and I could not find it on the internet either. Could anybody tell me where can I find the driver? It is a 48x24x48 seamless link CD-RW rom. Or if anybody can tell me what's the problem with it?
