i have a serious problem with my system someone help me please

i know it's not good to typing english ,but i can't even type chinese right now, if i push CTIL+SPACE my internet explorer close up.
now, everytime i close a window (or it close by itself like download finish or by clicking ok to close the window),(whatever the windows are, like my document, ie explorer), there comes a window, said:
MY DOCUMENTS: EXPLORER.EXE-APPLICATION ERROR
THE INSTRUCTION AT "0*0000000" REFERENCED MEMORY AT"0*00000000". THE MEMORY COULD NOT BE "WRITTEN".
CLICK ON OK TO TERMINATE THE PROGRAM
CLICK ON CANCEL TO DEBUG THE PROGRAM

i can't use my computer right now, do i really have to re-install my WINDOWS XP?

my english is not good, thank u for helping me !!!!!!!!!!_:'(
