请教一下家庭网络的优化。

我有2台电脑，一个linksys IP Phone adapter.一个8 port, 10/100mbps, 3com的HUB，一个linksys wireless +4 port router.用tv cable的宽带服务，2个ip address 之内免费。所以我是这样配置的，2台电脑接到router,然后router和phone adapter接到3 com HUB,然后3 com HUB 接到cable modem上。这样ip电话的效果会好一些，这是Ip电话公司说的。

问题1，linksys IP phone adapter接到3 com HUB的那个口的指示灯是黄色，不闪烁，不过ip电话还可以使用，而且效果好象是更好一些。这是什么原因？

问题2，我使用HUB的2，3，4口，还需要使用uplink口连接router或者是modem吗？
