How to install windows xp on an old hard drive
There is an old hard drive, due to sudden power outrage, couldn't boot into windows.
I tested the hard drive on another computer, as a secondary hard drive, the data is still there. Does this mean that the hard drive isn't damaged ??
So I decided to re-install windows xp (from CD-ROM) on it.
I first unplugged the master hard drive and then pulg this old hard drive to master, and put my installation CD into CD-ROM
But everytime power on the computer, it went to
Safemode
Safemode with command prompt
safemode with network
open with last known good version
open with normal mode
choices. None of them ever work. ie. I couldn't install windows xp on it. I changed the BIOS to boot from CD-ROM already.

为什么不先格式化这个老盘在别的机器上?
