how to take off desktop cover?

Hi, guys:
I have a Gateway mini-tower, I try to install a new
hard drive. The problem is: I cannot take off its cover
even I take off all screws I can see. The top part close to hard drive and cd-com part of cover is just stuck there. I am wondering how I can take it off to install mu new drive. Or please tell me where I can find detailed instructions to do it?
