thank you very much. i will do as you suggested.

because my msdos.exe has virus, so do not dare to clean the file right now, afraid that system is dead. so i will do some backup, then do that.

my impression is that the ie problem has to be fixed first, because otherwise the virus will keep coming in. i have tried the system restore, however, strangely, the only available time point is yesterday, when the computer was attacted the virus.

i will definately install what you suggested, zonealarm. and what is the best anti-virus software, you think, to install.

again, thanks a lot ....
