请问，html和htm后缀有什么不同吗？

花了我三天三夜做了个网站，用的是dreamwave做的，网页后缀全是htm. 现在做了大半，看到大多数网页都是用的html后缀，才想起来问这两个后缀有什么不同啊？哪个更好呢？谢先啦。
