初次装linux ，不懂怎样能做到windows,linux 文件共享。

记得， 学校的机房都是dual boot(windows/linux) 电脑，我进了windows 里面有一个硬盘分区就是我的个人存储的文件，与再linux 中看到的完全相同。 我的疑惑是，要实现这样的文件共享，是需要在安装Linux 前就做好准备么？ 例如，在windows 所在分区划出一个空间做共享用。 还是，在安装完成后实现共享。。
还有个问题，如果92GB的硬盘（一块笔记本硬盘），化出40Gb 给Linux （fedora core 5）是否合理呢？剩余的是window xp 所在的分区。 我打算选择workstation 的安装，linux 用来做一些程序开发，不用来娱乐，也不存影音文件。初次在自己的电脑上装 linux, 所以心理没数。。
