wireless connection 的问题

我有一事请教大家：
我给desktop买了一个wireless adapter，装上后连接的信号和质量都挺好，只是一打开browser，总也上不了网站。我看了一下connection的情况，只有sent的packets, received 的总是0。
同样的wireless LAN，用我的laptop连就一点也没问题。
不知道有什么configuration上的问题还是别的。该从那儿下手呢？ 请多指教。
