Help! Help!! Laptop's problem, Top Urgent

This morning I used Microsoft word to edit some file. It was OK. When I came back from somewhere, I found the Screen Save Program was working. Then, I pressed power button and want to start it. I found the laptop totally dead. No any action when I pressed the power button.

One thing I have to mention: For the power save function, I have two different settings, One for plug in, another on for laptop bettary. I am not sure whether it is a problem.
