现在的verizon dsl的router和modem造在一起的。。

如果你modem上有天线，后面有多个 lan port, 那表明你不需要另买 router。。
在你的windows98 pc 装上 pci wireless card 或 u***** adaptor 后就可以无线上网了。。
现在先把你的wireless关掉，，打 http://192.168.1.1 就可以进入 router setting，router 的security setting也在这里。。
