Thanks for your response!

I can see that drive in both BIOS and windows Device Manager. I just can not have a letter assigned to it. Also under Device manager, the drive is named as Generic Disk. I checked the website of HD manufacturer - Western Digital, and could not find a driver since it indicated that there is no need to have a special driver for Windows 98.
