儿子高中毕业了

周六和太太参加了儿子高中毕业典礼，算是又完成了人生的一件大事。老年得子，又是我摆脱了“上门女婿”后自立门户的开始，这个儿子养得费心。

依然还记得第一次带太太和女儿回农村老家，给老娘说:抱歉啊，结婚也是事后才给你们说的，女儿这么大了才带儿媳妇过门。女儿随妈妈姓。。。老娘悄悄给我说: 这些年你一个人在外闯荡，我知道你也不容易。孙女跟媳妇姓就跟媳妇姓么，难不成不是我孙女。。。所以，把儿子养好养大成人，再带回老家见奶奶（爷爷在儿子出生那年因事故过世，没有见到过这个孙子）也是咱的一个信念， 毕竟这个孙子是阿猫家的呀。。。

经过了养育女儿时的“鸡头凤尾”之争，养育儿子的重点就不再是名校，而是知识的获取了。一路坷坷坎坎， 走gifted路线。到高中时，老爸博士后的那点微薄工资哪够儿子上私立呢，还是走姐姐的老路，去public elite学校。课外活动也是精心挑选，从“文武双全”的思路--钢琴武术并举，到终于看出儿子坐不住的性格，放弃钢琴专练跆拳道，口袋里不多的几个钢板也就随这些课外活动打了水漂。毕竟是来美国站稳脚跟后儿子才出生的，再怎么穷也只能穷父母，不能穷孩子，儿子比姐姐幸运多了:到高中毕业就随父母老师跑了很多地方，以至于姐姐时不时要找老爸老妈抱怨一下不公平哦。。。

儿子高中毕业了，可父母的担子还不能搁下啊。四年大学的开销还需要老爸老妈节节省省过日子。周六参加完毕业典礼，周日凌晨三点就爬起来，三点半出发去钓鱼，到了水边天还没亮呢。手气不错，到下午一点收工回家，大大小小也有20-30斤呢。回到家，儿子已经随同学去senior trip了，老妈看着这么多鱼，给老爸说:这个礼拜儿子一半时间不在家，咱也不用shopping了，给儿子省点钱吧。我买了个大西瓜，够我们两老吃一个礼拜了，你钓这么多鱼， 加上上个月挖的荠菜还有不少再冻箱里，我今天又收了不少树叶和韭菜，这个礼拜我俩就这么凑合着过吧。。。



人生的新阶段:挖野菜，吃树叶。。。
