晚交一天作业，后果很严重

晚交一次作业/essay不光是扣了40%本次作业分数，A+直接降为D，还收到本学期第一个term的成绩警告。（本学期已经过完1/3了)

You have received this notice because XXX
has earned a(n) D, F or I on the current progress report. Students have
10 weeks before finals to raise a grade or to complete work to remove
an Incomplete. A failing grade at the semester, in a course that is a
graduation requirement, will require that a student make-up the course
before earning a diploma. A "D" in a course at the semester may
jeopardize college eligibility.

Please discuss this situation with XXXX. Encourage XXX to take advantage of tutorial time, to access the Homework Center, and to meet with a teacher to discuss what steps are necessary to improve a grade.The Homework Center is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 3:15-5:00pm in the Library with math, science, social studies and English teachers prepared to assist students with homework and research papers.
