White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt hinted Wednesday that the Iran war would end before President Trump travels to China in mid-May.
The Trump administration has said the conflict that began on Feb. 28 would last 4 to 6 weeks, “so you can do the math on that,” Leavitt told reporters. Leavitt added the war’s end was not a precondition to set up Trump’s rescheduled summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
