How to de-leverage 2x ETF

I have some concentrated QLD positions with high % gain in taxable account.  I hope to deleverage them over time to SPY.   How do I do it?  I think I can open another margin account and buy 200K SPY, and at the same time short 100K TQQQ, after a year or halfyear , I would

  • Closing a TQQQ short with a 100k loss, and

  • Selling my existing QLD with a 100k gain in a different account.

Therefore I would be overall tax neutral.  Would this method work and would it be regarded as wash sale for TQQQ?  somebody give me suggestions?  How to decide on the ratio between SPY and TQQQ (long short pair)?
