最後一個homecoming

高四的homecoming又到了。今年是弟弟最後一個homecoming啊！


大概從開學時，有女朋友的男生的媽咪們就摩拳擦掌開始準備做mums。男女朋友互送對方紙做的 mum（菊花）是個美好的德州傳統，而且高四畢業生還指定是白色的。雖然說這些傳統都給媽咪們好些壓力，但我還是好喜歡，回頭看看都是珍貴回憶。我真是幸運，有幾個心靈手巧的好朋友喜歡做mums，每年都請我去她們辦的mum-making爬梯，大家幫我出謀獻策，還教我編各種造型的緞帶，用cricut特別訂做了design，最後群策群力，總算是給弟弟女朋友做了一個滿意的mum。

弟弟的女朋友也好有心喔，她給弟弟的mum上面的緞帶有漂亮的十字架，我還以為是買的，她說是自己剪貼的。還有那些複雜的緞帶，手工好厲害。


女朋友的捧花（還有特定名稱叫nosegay）是弟弟前一晚跟朋友自己做的。小男生也算是盡力了。。。

男孩子就是愛搞笑。他們都是很棒的男孩子，有禮貌、勤奮、有思想。弟弟很幸運！

拍完照孩子們就各自上車去downtown晚餐+跳舞。老父親老母親看著他們絕塵而去，感嘆當年的那個小胖子已經長成了小大人的架勢，還很會體貼女朋友。青春真是美真是好，願他們永遠記得此刻的燦爛。
