求教版上各位前辈， 女孩坚持想学applied math，这个专业哪个学校更好呢？

看高校排名，NYU居然排第二名，这是研究院的排名？那本科水平怎样？很难申请吗？一般毕业了去向是哪里？

另外看到不少公校排名胜过藤校，例如UT austin在Princeton， stanford之前，记得princeton的数学不是很牛吗？怎么回事。

万一日后工作不好找，转计算机容易吗？

父母都是工程师，身边熟人孩子也都是热门专业毕业，对数学专业和找工情况了解不深， 还请版上前辈多多分享指点。
