请教一个绿卡申请的问题

我现在是F1, 老公是公民, 结婚半年了, 人都在美国. 前些日子收到Dept. of Homeland Security的信, 说是老公给俺添的申请绿卡的petition has been approved. 但说俺 not eligible to file an adjustment of status application. 俺不太明白这是什么意思, 下步该怎么办. 信上给的电话怎么打都打不通. 这里的达人们能否知道该怎么办? 谢谢!
