儿子的同学从波斯顿搬到休斯顿-----

他们家卖掉波斯顿2000尺（相当于个国内240平方米）的房子，获美元48万。
在休斯顿优良社区买了一套6000尺的别墅（相当于国内建筑面积720平方米），花去58万美元。

最近这个周末，我带着儿子去了他家，太气派了，一大套房子，高挑客厅，大排沙发，在上头一坐，有点像皇帝接见群臣的感觉。

两口子比我年轻多了，也就是普通上班的工作。他们还准备在后院兴建一个游泳池。

在国内，普通上班族能达到这样富裕的生活吗？绝对不可能。而美国，却轻而易举。
