You made two mistakes here:

1. The author is only concerned about good jobs, such as an EE job. Apparently, you do not know the difference between good jobs and bad jobs.

2. "Foreigners" are not taking away all jobs from "Americans", such as Bill Gates' job (well, you are confused with job and wealth).

In conclusion, every thing you wrote in your post are either misunderstanding of the original post, or irrelevent. That explains a lot about your chance of being successful in the US.
