Actually, besides yang and li, I cannot name two Chinese Nobel Prize winner. But I search online and I learned that Gao Xingjian, author of Soul Mountain and The Other Shore, has become the first Chinese writer to be awarded the Nobel Prize for literature and steven Chu, got the Nobel Prize in Physics 1997.
My country is mainland.
If a Chinese aligns himself or herself with Taiwan, I am still "为TA而感动". Because in my mind, this person is still a Chinese.
No, I am not advising those Chinese who became US citizens need to put China first, US second. But they will never forget that they are America Chinese.
