You missed the more important group of people: Those who complain constantly that they are being discriminated in the west, but think that they will be the ones to discriminate others after returning to China.

They group of people that you mentioned is not important at all, because they do not have intention to return to China any way(except for short visits, which is not Shen was talking about, so you actually misunderstood Shen's intentions. Is that because your Chinese proficiency is a little too weak?), so your advice is wasted.
