回复：Are the Chinese really 盲目乐观

CCP may raise a war against Taiwan and US. It has nothing to lose.
If CCP wins, it will change the rule of the whole global game. The chance s for CCP to win a war is odd.
If CCP loses, it will reasonable change to a much tighter control on China society, going back to situations like North Korea. CCP will keep its power.
It is possible that the war keeps going for many years, like the secon Sino-Japanese war. CCP can solve many of its social problems easily. The population will reduce to one-tenth. The military power will regain. Many advantages.
By the way, the most important thing is: decision makers already prepare a good backdoor for themselves and their family members.

Ironically, we don't need much economic and political background to predict China's future. We just need to analyze what is in the mind of those few who are "top-leaders" of poor Chinese people.
