sacrificing the poor (which is the majority) to serve the benefit of the minority. I bet if you are sacrificed, you will say something different.
You probably forgot that during the first ten years of reform, China's economy was expanding as fast as today, and yet, the poorer section of the population was not sacrificed (in fact, they benefitted more than the average). So China's own history shows that you can expand the economy without sacrificing the majority.
