I had the same thought

I figured he must be a newbie to the company and want to pick up some information, so I thought I should help out a follow Chinese. He said he was working on a "project" and asked very general question in the beginning such as "what is the difference between X and Y?" so I assumed that it's work-related.

I was not bored. I was internet shopping for shoes; I hate being interrupted like that.
