Its a extremely rewarding business, salary can be up to millions, but very few people can get there. U also need to accept ur typical working hours like 12-14 per day.

I dont know how many Chinese traders are there at NYSE, but this job is not quite relevent to portfolio manager u required. I know there are not many native Chinese in London Iv bank,more in accountancy. Not many Chinese become portfolio managers oversea, however, u may have a chance if u return to china afer being well qualified.
