今天P. Krugman的NYT奇怪言论

今天，krugman在NYT上叫嚣美元贬值：

“The thing is, right now this caution makes little sense. Suppose the Chinese were to do what Wall Street and Washington seem to fear and start selling some of their dollar hoard. Under current conditions, this would actually help the U.S. economy by making our exports more competitive.

In fact, some countries, most notably Switzerland, have been trying to support their economies by selling their own currencies on the foreign exchange market. The United States, mainly for diplomatic reasons, can’t do this; but if the Chinese decide to do it on our behalf, we should send them a thank-you note.”

让俺觉得灰常奇怪。是他日理万机，没搞清美元贬值和
美国国债贬值的后果？还是俺考虑不周？

Krugman的言论和几天前俺贴了如下帖子后跟着批判俺的帖子一样。
见鬼了。

难道花街的也都错了？盼TG卖T-bond?

各位大佬有看得清的，说两句。

关于炒高美元长期利率 – 中国的杀手锏

【按】假如中国玩弄T-bond，
造成米国融资成本增高，美国就捉襟见肘。今天，米国财长的话证实了俺的推断：怕了！

中国具体办法就是拍卖手里的bond，把价压低，把利率弄上去。

通俗地说，就是中国对美帝宣言：

俺以前借你的钱，俺认赔了，1块$俺只要9毛。
同时，你丫今后借钱，就得是高利贷。

后果：

1，不管谁接受，UST的rate一定增高。没人接
就更高。TG手里的20000亿，谁也接不住。虽然UST只有800B，
也是最大了。小于Bernanke手里的2T，但是也不少。

2，TG把市场上的$现金收了一堆，想买啥买啥。
别国还真无法竞争，至少没那么多cash。Rio 的事估计不至于重演。

3，高利率下，Fed加Treasure烂印票子也得想想了。

4，怎么收场？难道Fed买断所有UST? 不太可能。不买断的话，
想“forgive the debt”也没有办法吧。

5，顺便说一句，房贷是取决于UST –rate的。所以，UST利率高了，
房贷就高了 – 房价就无法复苏 – 米国各个银行就回不来。经济也就
under-water。说他们是面临a lost decade 不是胡说的。
