to any one who is Chinese. I am a Chinese and I told him I will always be a Chinese, regardless of my passport or where I live.
He grew up from a dif. world, and his parents, one was a HK immigrant the other from taiwain, do not have ood things to say about mainland China. The way he grew up, he tried very hard not to be like his parents. (He loves them and is grateful to the fact that they will be there for him but says they never understand him.)
And his parents were too busy making a living back then, and no one paid attention to his Chinese skills. Not trying to find excuse for him, but that is who he is and every one is different. What I am saying is there is a reason behind most things and it is not his fault that he is not that Chinese.
I HOPE NO ONE HERE IS TO JUDGE IF IT IS OK TO BE AN ABC OR CBC WITHOUT FEELING THEY ARE CHINESE OR SHOULD LIKE CHINA, BUT TO HUMBLY ASK FOR YOUR ADVICE WHAT I SHOULD DO GIVEN THIS SITUATION. Many thanks!
