I agree by staying I am sacrificing a lot

while he loses nothing. I will regret it if it does not work out yrs later. I am not dying to go back to China, but I can learn to re-adapt if needed. I believe I will survive there if I want. The great food (love the food, but that is not so high on my list) and the late night entertainment do not appeal to me, but the chance to have a satisfying job while being able to take care of my parents who are living by themselves is a big deal.

BUT WHAT SHOULD I ASK IN RETURN FOR STAYING TO MAKE THIS A BETTER SITUATION FOR ME? He already offered to marry me. He cannot afford a ring right now, nor do I want one that bad. But I know he will not learn Chinese or become a Chinese culturally.
