cannot be appointed. Appointed ones cannot last. You have to work here for 20-30 years to build support. Power comes from support, both from up and from down, mostly from down. If Jiang and Hu didn't work for 30-40 years in China, do you think they would become leaders in China? If Ma didn't work 20+ years in Taiwan, could he be elected?

Show me one leader was appointed without his own 20+ year hard work?

Ma will not get even a chance to elect in China, because he never worked in China, he has no much support in Chinese people. How much do you want to pay (support, for example, money, blood, prison time, ...) to get him elected in China?

Politics involves real interests, needs real work, not just mouth work.
