Katy ISD Celebrates Groundbreaking of Junior High No. 15 and High School No. 8

Katy ISD hosted a groundbreaking ceremony on April 22 in recognition of the construction of Junior High No. 15 and High School No. 8. Dozens of staff, students, parents and community members joined Superintendent Alton Frailey and the Board of Trustees during this celebration.

These campuses are two of six new schools to be built thanks to the 2014 voter-approved bond package. Located in the new Ventana Lakes neighborhood, these schools are estimated to open in the fall of 2016.
