For instance, Brazil has higher GDP per capita than China in 2013. If you look at annual electricity production per catipa, China has 1000 kwh more than that of Brazil in 2013 per capita! So it is impossible for that Brazil has higher GDP per capita than China. This is because the annual electricity production per capita may better reflect the economic development level of a nation.
