I don't think chinese are too competitive

I concur that chinese are not good at helping others, or good at securing the resources to do what you intend to do. Part of the reason is because they are not far-sighted enough to see values in others. Part of the reason is that chinese are just not team players. We, as chinese, don't know the team game very well. But I don't think chinese are competitive. Chinese are blunt. and perhaps confrontational, but not fiecely competitive. Perhaps we weren't exposed to the cultural subtelties growing up. I've met many defensive and confrontational fellow chinese, some in high enough positions for their technical capabilities, but I really have not met a handful of competitive chinese who are able to see beyond themselves in the competition.
