Seahawks won because

 1. Russell Wilson works from free, almost for free that is, 375K in comparison to 15Mil. With salary cap, 15Mil can get many good player and talented free agents for the team.

2. Apparently Pete Carroll is really good at building his team, turning many late round drafts into super stars. Being the 2nd oldest head coach in NFL, Pete Carroll is having fun coach like no others.

There is no major change expected for next season so it should be Seahawks' year for 2015 again.  Be prepared to bet on Seahawks again.
