In some states, you can plea guilty on the court (even though you plead Not guilty previously) and give explanation. Usually, the court will reduce you penalty. Some time, you can volunteer for a driving defense school to reduce point. The best way is to argue (not in front of the judge) using whatever reason to get non-moving violation penalty so that you don't have point at all. However, you still need to pay. In your case, you may end up with $150 or less if you are lucky.
