All wrong....

You guys are crazy...
Remember you buy a new car, you lose money, no exception. None of them will preserve the value. You will lose a couple of thousand after you drive off dealer's parking lot and about 10k after 4-5 years...
The car,you drive, represents your class in your soical life. That's why many people change their cars every 3-4 years... They don't care about losing thousands of dollars but want to maintain their class and feeling driving a new car...
If you really wants to hold value of your money, go buy something else, houses, diamond, etc. In car world, I personal think 80's Porsche is the best car to hold value. Buy a decent old Porshe 911 now, and you will not lose any penny after 3-4 years... Plus it runs better than most of your new cars.
Cars have combination of utility and luxry functions... Just go with what ever you like... For me, I wouldn't buy neither Camry, nor Malibu. Camry is too vanilla flavor for me... Malibu has ugly and cheap looking.
I don't care who is the car manufacture. I buy what I like. For me, I need have severl cars to keep me happy.
I have a comfortable seadan to drive to work everyday. I buy Jap or Europ seadan becaue they are better made than US car. I'm driving an Acura for now...
I need a truck for carrying stuff and for winter. I buy US truck because the quality and pricing are all good. I bought a Ford Explorer. Good for me now...
I, for sure, need a little sport car for fun. I will buy an Europen sport car. They are nice to drive comparing to others. I drive my little Porsche on the weekend in Summer adn do some auto-crossing occasionally.
The forth car? I have my forth car once a while just for buying and selling to get some profit out of it.

Guys, take it easy. If you really love cars, buy some of them and enjoy them. If you really care about your money, buy some used cheap ones any put your money to investment.

For most of you, just quite waste your time here. Go work harder to get better lift and enjoy it. Spend countless hours here/or internet for saving $50. That is waste thing you can do in your life....
