if you assume that a wall does

not give and inch, then it's not correct-- if in the other case, 1 car is stationary.

both cars will give couple feet due to crumple zone, so 2 car hitting(one is stationary), the impact force is only 1/2 of one car hiting a wall and the wall stands. :)
