BMW X5 vs Volvo XC90?

We are expecting a baby at end of this year, could you experts please help to shed some lights on which SUV is better? Our budget is under 60K, need big enough room in the back for the baby and also a fun car to drive thru mountains with no snow chain during ski seaon.
