Tesla model 3 2020, about 15k miles.
son's car seat belt won't latch. sit inside, put down seat belt, it won't click. he and his girlfriend thought something got in there, like sunflower seeds.
tried to vacuum clean the receiver / female side, nothing came out.
They tried to poke anything like sunflower seed skin out. nothing came out.
I blowed it with full blow, nothing came out.
They did the software update, which I believed the cause of malfuctuion. I suggest tesla be driven in the hoods, they refused.
I googled and saw the magic of w40.
sprayed once, failed to click.
Sprayed again after another half of hour of agitation, with the male side clicking in. lots of w40, it latched.
it worked, the old fashion way, a generation gap into design of these damn new toy, just imagine drive without a seat belt on, it's a curse for the least, from da old man.
