The system R134 pressure inside eventually reaches an equilibrium pressure which is in between specified high pressure and low. It wouldn't changed until the compressor runs. Suction side pressure is typically 30 to 40 psi, compression side 200 some.

The only thing it can tell now based on your gauge reading is that the system is not empty.
