轮胎要买winter tire吗？ 请有经验的大拿给

孩子要把车开到NY上州的学校去， 那里冬天雨雪较多。 问有经验的朋友是否应该换成winter tire。

看解释说 winter tire实际上perform far better than all season tires in dry, wet and snow condition. 

唯一的缺点是天气暖和的时候磨损快。
