Mercedes-Benz VRLA (valve-regulated lead-acid)电池，加水还是不加水？

前一段时间Mercedes-Benz 2010 GL350 柴油车打车觉得力道不够强，最近天气转冷， 忽然就打不着车了。jump 着了，高速上跑了跑， 可以打着车，只是力道还不够强。

打算换电池， 可是此车的电池体积巨重，且装在passenger 的座椅底下，地方狭长，换起来十分的不容易。能不换就尽量不换吧。

Mercedes-Benz 2010 GL350 柴油车的电池是VRLA (valve-regulated lead-acid battery) 电池，标示不用加水。但是电池上有一个vent, 水分还是会丢失的。见下面的照片。

 

所以决定还是加水试试。用电吹风吹，就可以轻松的揭下两张标纸。露出电池的六个盖子。用screw driver 取下盖子，拧下塑料材质的plug. 电池的电极板状况还很好。当然， 据说valve-regulated lead-acid battery， 是不会看到液体的，我也没看的任何液体。

六个孔都加了distilled water. 总共加了近 1/3加仑的水。拧回塑料材质的plug， 盖好盖子复原电池后， 用一个3安培的充电器充满电。经过一周多时间，现在电池状况良好。打车杠杠的。
