what should I do with the old car

It is 2001 Toyota Corolla LE with 304,000 miles. It has pretty new battery (9 month old), 4 spark plugs and coils (less than 6 month). I can start it, and drive it, but if I stop, I have to wait 30 min to restart it. 

Did not try to trade in since I think there are too many miles on it. Called junk yard, and he offered $50 since the car still can move. Another option is to donate it, though I will not get much tax deduction. 

Any good suggestions? Take out the battery and coils?
