求助Jetta vr6发动机无力而且声音大

我的2001JettaV6 上周有天突然打火时发动机出现噪音，哒哒哒的，而且发动机无力，踩油门声音更大，尾气管喷水珠，记得前两天下大雨淌水开过，但第二天没问题，第三天才出问题，换了spark plug, 清洗过节气门，问题依旧，以前catalytic converter 导致发动机灯亮，但开了两年没问题，开到一个烙印的修理厂人家说timing chain 有问题，需要3700刀修，车其实现在不值这个钱，求助各位大神，有什么建议？万分感谢!!
