jaguar xtype 2003 ran over curb

Drama from teenage son.   He sped and hit a curb probably at 30mph.   Car wont start. Towed.   Replaced battery, checked initia switch, no turn of engine.   Gear is in drive mode.  Still open up the console to see if i can move to park.    Any advice here?
