美国富人和中产开破车的炫耀 -- ZT

不时看到美国富人和中产分子开着破车或20年以上的旧车，尤其是在周末的热闹的开往餐馆的马路上。一开始以为是他们省钱和抠门。一深谈，才知道他们是在“炫耀”！
中国的富人和中产开好车名牌车是“炫耀”。“炫耀”他们有钱和身份。生怕人家不知道。因为他们自己“狗眼看人低”，生怕人家对他们也“狗眼看人低”。
美国富人和中产分子开着破车或20年甚至30年以上的旧车在“炫耀”什么呢？
他们在“炫耀”他们对车的渊博的历史知识，“炫耀”他们本人对车悉心保养的作风和精湛修理的技术。
美国马路上有的是新车好车名牌车，那又如何呢，不就是用钱买的吗？真不好说在美国开好车名牌车中国大陆人都是些傻了吧叽呆头呆脑的坐享其成者，但是看看几个被网上“显摆”的富二代，还真有这种感觉，令人不肖一顾。
而看到一辆30年以上的破车，在美国马路上行驶，就不一样了，心里肃然起敬，不由得会多看几眼。因为，这是美国人知识勤奋技能的象征，美国精神！难道不值得“炫耀”?!
