Our Sienna is 2002 with 117,000 miles. It has been burning oil for years especially on highway but we never saw blue smoke when driving or at cold start. Got P1354 and low oil pressure about a year ago. I changedtiming belt, water pump, oil pump, all 6 spark plugs, OCV filter and gasket of the front valve cover. I also checked (measured) both OCVs and they were fine. The oil pickup screen had been cleaned also. But the oil burning issue become worse after the replacement and we started seeing blue smoke at cold start somedays. Was it due to the higher oil pressure (oil pressure increased a lot after the replacement)? We only drive it at local since then. Last week wife told me the check engine light was on. Got P1354 (again) and I reset it. However the CEL turned on again this morning and was also flashing. I told her stop drive it. Read the code and got P1354. The bad thing is when I turn it on it kept generating blue smoke and seems the blue smoke would not stop. I let it run for about 30 sec and turned it off and it smoked all the time.
Would a P1354 cause the blue smoke? What could produce a non-stop blue smoke? Any thought?
P1354 is complaining the VVTi malfunction. OCV is oil control valve which is part of the VVTi.
The van has slightly sludge, btw.
不停的冒蓝烟会是什么问题, 缸穿了?
