SUV雪地要上雪链吗？

SUV all wheel drive, 是all season  的轮胎。
以前没上雪链，CHP 也让我开了。还是他们没看出来？

有人告诉我，除非是snow tire，都要上雪链。真的吗？
snow tire 平时能用吗？
